Due to the constant 3rd party peer trouble we've experienced over the last year the sweden server has been relocated to london. It's unfortunate as the uptime/connection itself was great, but we believe this will be for the benefit of our users in the long run.
I just would like to take this opportunity to announce we have a new WebChat that has been implemented on this website.
Basically it will allow you to connect to AustIRC from anywhere that has Internet access.
Do you have Internet at work? But IRC ports have been blocked? No fear. Just goto http://www.austirc.net/webchat.html (or just click on 'Chat' up the top. Once it loads just insert your nickname. Then Press Connect! Within a few short moments you'll be on IRC! Its that simple :)
I just want to say Thanks to bastion for all his hard work he's put in to do the configuration for it and setting it up so its usable via the web page. Also to James from Mibbit.com who also helped set this up.
If anyone has any issues, please use the 'Contact' button up the top or connect via Chat and /join #help
Unfortunately pixcles server has left the network due to a transfer of locations of the box. The server is now located in the US which you can connect via /server woodstock.us.austirc.net shortly. We are having a little troubles communication wise from the Pixcle staff but that should be ironed out soon.
We would love to see a replacement server for our SG users. So if you know anyone that might be interested, contact staff in the #help channel.
Feel free to use our malaysia link on selangar.my.austirc.net until a replacement is found.
